Kids need to get up and move around! Scavenger hunts incorporate movement into the day while practicing early reading skills.

Play Tips:

  1. Scavenger hunts can always be timed for an extra level of energy.

  2. Competitive kids? Siblings can race each other OR work together to race the clock.

  3. A good way to make sure things stay tidy is that the scavenger hunt is not completed unless everything is left exactly where they found it.

Skills Spotlight:

  • Memory, following directions
