In the App: Gratitude Song

In addition to developing social-emotional learning skills and practicing gratitude, memorizing songs can increase attention span and help kids develop a sense of rhythm and rhyme!

What You Need:

  • A device with the HOMER app

How to Play

For iOS Users:

  • Open your HOMER app and go to the “Songs” section.

  • Select the “Friendship and Kindness” category.

  • Select “Gratitude” to open the Gratitude Song.

  • Sing Along!

For Android Users:

  • Open your HOMER app and go to the “Song and Rhymes” section.

  • Scroll down to the “Holiday” category.

  • Select “Gratitude” to open the Gratitude Song.

  • Sing Along!

Play Tips:

  • Make today a “Thank you” challenge day. How many times can you say “Thank you” during breakfast? As you walk to the park? During a Zoom visit with a friend or family member?

  •  Use this song as an inspiration for a Family Thank You Jar.  Every day, each person writes the name of someone they want to thank.  When everyone is together, each person tells why the person they picked gets a “Thank you!”
